JATO Demonstration at United Nations in Support of the Refusniks
On October 23, 2002, the Israeli Supreme Court is scheduled to hear an appeal by the Refusnik Combat Soldiers. The refusniks intend to challenge the legal foundation of Israel's rule in the West Bank and Gaza and, in so doing, to legalize their own refusal as well as to cancel the jail sentences repeatedly imposed on them.
We stand in support of the refusniks. Our message: "Americans (and American Jews) Support the Refusal to Serve in the Occupied Territories".
